Biography A student of Martin Heidegger from 1920 until 1934, when she was driven into exile from Germany. She received her doctorate in Basel under Prof. Schmalenbach, and eventually settled in England and taught mainly at the University of Glasgow. She died in 1951. Being absent in some semesters for family reasons, Helene Weiss completed the series of Heidegger's lectures and seminars by copying H. Mèorchen or other students' notes. She wa...
